Have you ever been busy doing nothing? I've been so 'busy' over the past couple of weeks, but I can't say with what..... Certainly not knitting or the allotment - oh yes, homework. My course finishes in 2 weeks and I've been burning the midnight oil somewhat!!
There really is not much on the knitting front I finished the baby jacket but can't find a 25cm open zip locally, so I'll have to go further afield!!

I've started a new project for my mum. She chose the pattern. I'm using Debbie Bliss Pure Silk, and I'm not sure how I feel about this yarn. I like it because it's so soft, yet strong and it's shiny. I don't like it because it has bits of slub, it shows up every bad habit I have and it fuzzes very easily. I'll let you all decide why I call it yellow peril....

The July package has come for the Mystery Blanket, so I'll be posting the completed squares once they are done.

The baby jacket looks great. Try zipperstop.com , they are in NYC and have a great service. Postage is very reasonable and fast delivery. Beats going on a London expedition.
I think the overall effect of yellow peril is great.
Oh I love that yellow peril, gorgeous, although I do know what you mean about the yarn, it isn't very forgiving.
